Spent my honeymoon here and New Orleans in 1973. I've been there many times since then. Despite the tourists it's a place we'll worth visiting.

I really like the way you narrate your videos. It's calming.

Having visited for years, lived there for 4 years, the flooding is a huge problem, much like New Orleans.

Living just north of St. Augustine, I have only fond memories of visiting. Whether with my family as a child. We always got a chocolate dolphin on a stick from the candy store, or staying in a bed & breakfast on a romantic weekend get away with my fiancé. I love all the rich history, beautiful beaches and fun little shops & restaurants. I have some funny memories of my girlfriend’s trips for the day to roam St. George Street & photos from doing cartwheels in the grass around the Fort. It’s magical during the Christmas lighting of the tree and city. I highly recommend a visit to those interested in old world charm meets corny Ricky’s Believe it or Not?!

Great video. My favorite 2 adventures, pirate adventurers, "sailing " on the pirate ship, and to the south, exploring Ft Mantanzas.

I remember when I saw this rocking chair that moved back and forth on its own. I was creeped out. I knew that it was older than I thought

I need to tell my niece about this. She is studying Anthropology. She was recently in Belize 🇧🇿.

Can trace my paternal grand-father's family (Oliveros) back to St Augustine in 1778 and a great-grandmother's family (Longa) to 1756. Oliveros House still stands in the Old Spanish Quarter.

Also a fun fact is the Flagler had electricity before the White House Flagler was a friend of Edison.

Now that I heard about the 7000 year old graveyard 🪦 and the fact that there’s bones buried underneath the Swamp in Manasota Bay.
