One of the most enjoyable and interesting knitting podcasts to watch.😊

I appreciate your comments on projects that didn't work out, and why. I identify with many of these "mistakes"--mods that didn't work, wrong yarn for the pattern, dimensions not quite right. It's so helpful to hear an experienced knitter being honest about such things!

[I'm a lifelong knitter. My knitwork is spread throughout my life and my family's life. You inspire me to try new things & be patient with myself. Not all projects are wins, but they each bring a lesson. Thanks for sharing your loves and lessons.]

I always learn something special from your videos. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
I especially love the concept of knitting with purpose—having pieces in your wardrobe that you actually wear, and not holding onto things you’ve made but won’t use.

Your Youtube videos are by far my most favourite - clear, detailed information and explanations. Your aesthetic is remarkable, and you convey such a lovely personality. I wish you were my (very wise and helpful) neighbour. Best wishes for the new year.

I really enjoyed this! An honest review of your knits this year. I love that you are willing to frog those projects that are "lessons". So often we finish a garment and are disappointed with it. It ends up in a drawer, never to see the light of day. Admitting that it doesn’t work is the first step. Taking a deep breath and ripping back is the next. The final step is re-using the yarn into something beautiful that brings joy.

I also love how you have developed as a podcaster. May we have many more entertaining videos in 2026.❤❤❤

I am always surprised when people say they knitted a pattern to the pattern length. I always have to lengthen the body and sleeves because I am taller than most pattern designers (it seems) and the pattern measurements are ones that fit them. It all clicked where I heard a number of podcasters talk about their ‘magic numbers’ for body and sleeve length, and preferred ease. This has helped more of my knits be a success.

I love your honesty, Annika, and the fact that you’re willing to frog an entire project (more than once) in order to get the perfect garment. I have a couple of sweaters that really don’t fit perfectly but the yarn is so beautiful that I think re-knitting them will be part of my 2026 plans. I also made the Betty in teal and it’s one of my favorites, so much so that I’d like to start another in pink.
