"Anakin Skywalker was harder to convince than this!"

Yes. He was much harder to convince. Two movies harder, in fact.

To be fair, when Dredd says the rounds have an effective lethal range of 200 meters, he might mean against the judge uniforms/armor. but of course no one said that on screen.

Karl Urban's Dredd is legitimately excellent. I hope you've seen it by now!

Also Dredd always knew he had a twin. It was never a secret

Stallone's turn as John Spartan in Demolition Man was in many ways a more valid interpretation of Dredd than his actual portrayal of Dredd. They just inverted the nature of the dystopia Spartan inhabited. And IMO the Fifth Element had a better mega-city than either Dredd movie.

Suicide is actually illegal in the comics.

Block wars happen because people have nothing better to do, and because the block on the other side upset them somehow.

A simple fix to the dumbass plot twist is to have Griffen replace the sample with his own blood

Balls in his eye holes, that whole phrase was one of my favorite quotes in Tenacious D the pick of destiny
