I love the style of the GD pocket watches, they are so stylish. I’m truly gutted that I don’t think I will ever own a Roger Smith watch 😢

On the last question about why Daniels kept using double direct impulse natural escapements in his pocket watches but focused on the coaxial in wrist watches; From Daniels "The Practical Escapement" he noted that while the mechanism was theoretically superior, its "complex construction could not be sufficiently miniaturised in a wristwatch".
