Back when 'No man left behind' actually meant something. People living real life.

Each man was left to do what he could do best. That's usually created by intelligent leadership unaffected by social norms but by the reality of the situation.

I don't know why, but stories like these hold my attention to the end. Incrible story.

What an absolutely insane story of survival. Being trapped in the Subantarctic with nothing but your skills, your willpower, and a homemade boat as your only escape route… that’s the kind of situation most of us can’t even imagine.

The isolation, the freezing winds, the constant uncertainty — it must have been mentally exhausting as much as physically brutal. Building your own way out instead of waiting to be rescued takes a different level of courage.

Stories like this remind us how fragile we are in extreme environments, but also how unbelievably resourceful humans can be when survival is on the line. Huge respect to everyone who made it out.

Some say they developed a rudimentary form of internet … woven plants , seal toenails and lichen . Just after they built the coliseum.

The amazing achievements of people during that time frame is remarkable, their survival skills are enviable , I can only guess that only a minute number of human beings would survive a prolonged disruption of the modern conveinucions we take for granted every day.
