Spidey having radioactive body fluids just feels like another attempt attempt at making his life miserable. Just feels unnecessary for him to have it😤

His webs dissolve after two hours now, but originally it was after one hour. Over time, Peter altered his web formula, making it last longer and becoming much stronger. Bonus fact: the first person to ever break Spider-Man's web was Doctor Octopus.

5:30 this is part of that Peter hell scape, I do not associate Spider-Man with this. It’s purely a torture plot that just shows Peter in agony for absolute no over arching reason besides to sell comics. If his sperm was radio active there would be no future where he had a daughter.

Another fun fact is that one of Peter’s bullies Carl King saw Peter get bitten and made the connection that he was Spider-Man. So he went back to search for the dead spider and eat it to gain similar powers, instead he just became a living hive of spiders.

That he isn’t the nice guy next door that Tobey Maguire portrays him as, he’s a jerk, he’s has an edge. Sure he tries to be the best, tries to do the right thing, tries to be responsible - but he isn’t there yet, he is flawed, makes mistakes and can be selfish. Before he was bitten he hated the world and had a real chip on his shoulder

 Fun fact I know:
In the 1970's, Toei Company made Spider-Man into its own live-action television series loosely based on the comics, in which the titular character possessed at least some of his abilities and also piloted an aircraft that transformed into a giant robot. This concept was utilized in Toei's own franchise called Super Sentai, which was adapted into Power Rangers in the 1990s.

Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them…cheer them…scream their names. And years later, they’ll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them to hold on a second longer. I believe there’s a hero in all of us…that keeps us honest…gives us strength…makes us noble
