You should also listen to the original studio version. Bruford's drumming is unbelievable.

Amy, you will notice the Yes aficionados are, with one voice, saying the original studio version is the one to critique. Yes ran with performing Roundabout as a crowd-pleaser, which it surely is; but the nuances of that studio creation we first heard as teenagers will never, never leave us.

Geddy was a huge Yes fan in his youth. He must have been over the moon playing with them. Steve Howe isn't "wearing" two guitars. One is on a stand.

Original Album version. There's a remaster of that "Fragile" album. As a classical pianist, for me, there are nuances of that version that just can't be reproduced in a live setting.

That was awesome! The studio version however is a sonic masterpiece, seriously. Please hear it for yourself and see:)

I feel that a first listen should be the studio version. Oh well.

I will ad my vote to the "studio first" opinion. This is, however flawed, an excellent performance.

This is a version for those that have heard and loved the original studio track for decades... interpretations and modifications to make long-time fans smile and take note at the differences.

One should always start at the beginning, with the original studio release. Walk, then run. 😊
