  I was in Hong Kong in 1965 as a sailor on the USS Enterprise. Bought custom Jimmy Chen's suits and shoes. Took that tram to the top of the hill.  Hong Kong was the world's shopping center. This movie brought back a lot of memories. I had a mustache at the time and some of the girls called me Clark Cable. (that was their pronunciation) Always thought Michael Rennie was a distinctive classy character. Great movie'

  My Uncle was there at the time of the film, helping defend what was left of the British empire. He also regularly took the tram to the top of the hill, while rowing in the harbour for the Royal Engineers and playing cricket at Kowloon cricket club.

  All before my time, but the older I get I prefer older movies over modern movies. &nbsp;Better stories with more dialogue.

  Good flick,always admired Susan!! Clark was perfect for this part, hard as steel, with a good heart. Don&apos;t cross him though,cause frankly my dear,well you know.

  I found this on YouTube this evening I&apos;ve never seen it before but Gable and Hayward have been favorites of mine long as I can remember. Michael Rennie played many different roles in his career, another fine caliber actor.
