Good stuff Brian. Only comment would be wipe off any excessive lubricant to avoid dust build up.

What if the top won't go down at all? Any ideas there? <br>I have the car in neutral, have the emergency brake on, I unlatch the top, hit the button and hear the tops' motor trying to run. Sounds like something may be seized up back there. <br>Any ideas would be appreciated

my top just failed this morning. went most of the way down then just stopped. the clamshell wouldn't seat and the light stayed on the dash. It was stuck in the down (mostly) position for about an hour. I went back out and was able to put the top back up with a lot of assistance. The light is still on but the roof is at least shut. The clamshell appears to be all the way down but the light remains. I am getting the sweats after looking at what the motors cost.
