  I wish there was a voicenote option i have alot to say but years later it’s still the same. In my final year of Medicine I was offered 20K credit card from the other bank , we had offers from car dealerships to go test drive cars and also we were allowed to actually take the cars in December before the first salary, also told you could skip the first two months and start paying in March. It’s alot and I’m glad i realised it’s a trap , im driving the cheapest car, investing and i changed my financial advisor along the way and also reviewed all the products and cancelled some. I wish this conversation was shared with all the final year medical students. <br><br>Thank you so much for this, i will share with the students that i know are in their 5th and final year.

  I’m not sure whether losing my mom at a young age shaped this, but knowing I have no Plan B has made me very strict with my finances.<br>My former lecturer, Mr Hustler, always reminded us: “Live within your means and save for a rainy day.” Those words stuck with me.<br>I’ve always personally viewed credit cards as bad debt because you’re spending money you don’t really have. Just my opinion. 😅

  I &apos;m an Accountant and I had all kinds of debt and shining things you can think of, though on the other hand was building wealth of which I&apos;m greatful for, but in all honesty this shining things its a waste of money struu, I&apos;m glad I hv past that stage

  Where were u Doc when I fell for every trick you mentioned. M even cautious with my first born not fall into the same traps.<br><br>No one prepared me until I learned through books and financial podcasts.
