  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipPo6TZIsI8&amp;t=540">9:00</a> I want to say this is where the story arcs <i>truly</i> began.<br><br>It wasn&apos;t with the Waluigi arc itself, or even Freddy Spaghettiria, but with original stories like these that had actual stakes, mysteries, and really pushed how unusual things could get.<br><br>It started with these damn Luigi dolls.<br><br>I mean, the thing with SMG4 lore and his story arcs is that you kind of need to know the history of the previous videos to understand what&apos;s going on...<br><br>But the beauty of SMG4 is that <i>normally,</i> things are so random and stupid that you generally don&apos;t know what&apos;s going on regardless. The difference now is that there <i>is</i> context, and it&apos;s nice. It&apos;s rewarding. I can watch these ironically, or unironically, and still love them. Whether it&apos;s inside jokes or meme references or actual cinematography. That&apos;s what SMG4 is about.<br><br>I don&apos;t think he&apos;s really changed like everyone says. Yeah, he makes more serious videos. And it&apos;s all really friggin good. Especially with how Youtube is becoming stricter with vulgarity. Kinda makes sense that a film director would want to improve the quality of his videos, and that&apos;s pretty much what Luke is now. That&apos;s what he&apos;s always been. These goofy ahh videos have been leading up to that. It&apos;s nice.<br><br>I hope more people appreciate that. A lot of these older comments saying SMG4 fell off, that his older videos are better, I think after some time passes, they&apos;ll realize just how good the story arcs, the character development, and the quality improvement is. When you do more growing up, you start to appreciate the finer things.<br><br>But me? I can appreciate some top quality drama, and still laugh at stupid ass memes. That&apos;s just me.

  My first SMG4 video. &nbsp;Saw it in middle school. &nbsp;Crazy how much time has flown in 10 years. &nbsp;I&apos;m since out of college and still occasionally watch his videos. &nbsp;I knew today&apos;s announcement was coming, long before Wotfi 25. &nbsp;Glitch has come so far with so many new projects something had to give. &nbsp;But I am grateful for Luke and Kevin, and I look forward to the coming months. &nbsp;Here&apos;s to hoping all of us who are &nbsp;subbed stay idiots like the good times.
