  I'm not a royal fan at all but in the 80's Diana visited a drug rehab center a friend of mine was receiving treatment at... She talked to him and others there just wearing jeans and a sweatshirt... It meant the world to him and particularly when the visit did not make the papers... She just did it because she could.

  Diana wasn't perfect but her imperfections were greatly outweighed by her humanity and empathy. Her death was unquantifiable loss.

  I have to believe that the pain & humiliation Diana went thru, helped to shape her into the empathic & caring person she was.  A silver lining in her life, I hope.

  I once saw Diana driving her car near where I lived in West Kensington in the early nineties, probably on her way home from the gym.  She looked happy and was chatting with a man in the passenger seat. I'm pretty sure it was Ken.

  Dear Mr. Wharfe, &nbsp;I would like to tell you, just how wonderful you are. Princess Diana, was a Beautiful girl. You did an exceptional job taking care of her and her sons.   I am incredibly touched to hear someone tell the truth about Diana in such a sincere way. Thank you for not joining the obligatory Harry bashing and just telling the truth. We all seem to have developed collective amnesia about what happened so thank you for speaking truthfully about her.
