  (62 year old Aussie) &nbsp;As you can imagine, my gaming life began as a child with Pong, through Space Invaders, Pac Man and onwards. &nbsp;Buying a 2nd hand PS1 with FF7 in the second half of the 1990s was life altering for me. &nbsp;I have never stopped playing these games and have currently started again with FF1 on the Nintendo Switch.<br>I often call the era of FF7, 8 and 9 as my personal Golden Age of Gaming, with FF9 being my favorite. 🤩

  You forgot Nobuo Uematsu helping make video game music a legitimate stand alone genre of music listening outside of the game itself.

  You missed Final Fantasy Mystic Quest on the SNES- the first spinoff of the Final Fantasy series. Also Chocobo Tales. Great video nonetheless!

  I&apos;ve been a gamer since 1984, i was 8. Coleco Vision and Atari 2600 where my first consoles. Over the years i would have every console released up to Xbox original. I got into PC gaming in 1994 and after then, i focused entirely on PC gaming and only had an xbox original and pa2 to play with other friends that didn&apos;t have PC yet. &nbsp;Final Fantasy 7, was my introduction to the series. I loved this game. I spend 150hr on it and when i finally beat it, i recorded it on VHS. I can remember the ending being somewhere near 40mins long. It was amazing. I&apos;d go on to play 8(didn&apos;t care for it),9,X, X2, 11(didn&apos;t like), 13 , 14 online, 15 and 7 remake. &nbsp;9 Being my favorite as i got a tattoo of Vivi on my calf. I love when people recognize him :D &nbsp;i have been playing other games lately and didn&apos;t even know about a FF 16. &nbsp;getting it now :D

  Thanks to my older brothers, I was able to witness the Final Fantasy legacy. I didn&apos;t understand one, played two, but don&apos;t remember much. Just the twins who saved us from the walls closing in, and the boss battle theme. Loved it by the way! <br>Then I jumped in to three. Fell in love with everything about it! Then 7 became my second love. I&apos;m in the USA, so we skipped some of the games, our 3 was Japan&apos;s 6.<br>I watched my sister play 8. I dabbled in 9, but never finished. Watched my siblings play 10, and I lost track after that. 😅

  I feel like it’s also important to mention then importance of the music in theses games. Nobuo Uematsu is often called the grandfather of video game music. Video game music would not have been what it is today without these games.
