My new guilty pleasure is watching Americans discover inbetweeners. It's such a perfect summary of life as a teenage boy in the UK. Yes I do speak from experience 😂

Being called a twat can be a term of endearment here. It’s all in the delivery!

 End of part one

In the UK, half-hour shows usually only have 1 break for commercials.

The screen saying 'end of part one' was the break for commercials

You do know you have New Hampshire in the US and no one ever stresses the shyre part to that. It’s the same with every county in the UK.

I love the running joke in these episodes where Jay keeps nicking stuff "from Sadie Cunningham's bag during registration".

RE: 'end of part one'.. if you notice in the top left, it has an E4 logo. This is a recording from a TV broadcast on the UK TV channel E4 (the 'brand new' means this was probably ripped on the day of the first broadcast of this episode, way back in 2009), so it will have the ad break idents intact. The episodes on legit streaming platforms (I assume the DVDs too) don't need the ad break ident cards so you wouldn't have seen them until this episode

Don't forget guys that in the UK, a 'fanny' refers to a front-bottom and not the rear - now imagine how strange a 'fanny-pack' sounds to somebody from the UK!
