What I will never understand is how NEVER ONCE, one of the Wagners ever stopped and said “You know what, murdering 8 people is probably not the best way to go about a custody case.. we shouldn’t go through with this..” Instead, they ALL went through with this ghastly plan! It’s extremely rare that a group of this size collectively agrees to something so heinous- especially over something of this nature. There’s clearly something wrong with the entire Wagner family. There was obviously a reason why that child wasn’t going to be allowed to stay in the care of the father- he clearly has a few screws loose, and the judge obviously could tell as well. Such a tragic case. An entire extended family just wiped from the face of the earth. Absolutely heartbreaking.💔

A custody battle!!! What did they achieve?? The poor girl now has no one!! No parents or grandparents, uncles or aunts!! One family dead and one family in prison. What is wrong with people?? Just share custody like every other family who are separated/divorced. In the end children grow up so quickly this little girl is going to be 20, 30, 40...etc while her Dad rots in prison. Crazy!!

A custody battle that literally lead to every single person the child should've grown up with to no longer be in the child's life. What is wrong with the way people comprehend and think?

The Wagner's need to rot in prison. Such a senseless act of pure evil. Rest In Paradise Rhoden Family. 💔💔

All of these people all need to be in jail for life without the possibility of parole. I get so annoyed with all these "deals" being given out. Smh

How they thought they would ever get away with this is baffling to me. You took eight lives in a part of the country where everyone knows everyone. And for what?

It's been a long time coming. I give credit to the authorities who spent all the time to carefully collect the evidence and bring some justice to the community.

I remember this. It was all over custody of a child. Goes to show the extent of evil that exists in this world.

It’s scary how many mothers are assaulted or killed during divorce and/or custody hearings by ex-partners. This is a disturbing trend, obviously taken to the extreme in this case. That other family is pure evil.

This story blew my mind when it first happened. Actually, still to this day. Its absolutely insane one family caused this madness. All over custody. Straight out of your worst nightmare. RIP to all that passed & effected by this unnecessary madness.
