  I’m a survivor of domestic violence… I used to be that person… after taking years to work on myself and learn to love and respect myself again I am happy to say I’m the healthy version you’ve described here❤. <br><br>If any woman reading these comments is struggling w/ self ~ worth… I’ve been abused sexually, emotionally, mentally, physically, psychologically and every other way known… it took years of counseling, 2 trips to treatment for gambling, and LOTS and LOTS of therapy… to figure this one thing out…<br><br> I LOVE myself ❤. Respect comes first and foremost w/ self love and self respect… I started saying to myself every day and every night… I love you Brandie❤. Until I FINALLY believed it again! Once you KNOW YOUR WORTH and treat yourself with what you need, you’ll never again tolerate what you did in the past. <br><br>I love you!!!!<br>I love me!!!!<br><br>If I can do it… SO CAN YOU ❤❤❤❤

  This video is excellent. I’ve been a therapist for 40 years. I find all of these details on target with couples and people in general. there are only a couple of details I would add. Maybe these were some things that were mentioned but I missed it. Let me emphasize that when talking to a man you need to keep it simple and direct. If you beat around the bush the message gets lost in the details. This is really a video you have to listen to several times or take notes on it. If you can incorporate one of these changes in a week or a month, then you are going to feel the results. . You will see a lot of things change for you. If you change what you are doing then they have to change what they are doing. Happy listening!

  That&apos;s true: very few men actually listen to what you say, they just pretend to. And even those men remember only about ten percent of what you have said.

  All 3 are my style. As a child I was always made to feel like my presence was not needed. I find myself constantly over explaining to everyone.

  In the past I would over explain myself looking for understanding. Now I tend to make final decisions about and disregard existing relationships that cannot communicate, respect my attempts to communicate or any other slight I prefer not to argue or contend with. That usually looks like me never speaking to you again or total indifference. I’ve already lost soo much trying for people who do not care enough to try themselves. Quality over quantity. When I love I love hard and unconditional. Match it or move on. If that means being my own bff so 🐝 it. <br>🙏💙🙏

  Simon - I have been deeply committed to your work for years. This particular video knocked me sideways as nearly every point aligns with my own metamorphosis over the last six years and is a highlight of my coaching work with women. I discovered each of these points, albeit slowly, over time, to be true and I took each one on with great reflection and intention, with great success Always a work in progress, of course, and yet, profoundly impactful in all of my relationships/interactions with other humans. I am so grateful for your wisdom and insights and interestingly in this case, someone of your credibility acknowledging that my own inner work has been spot on. Of all of your points, my focus (for myself and those I coach) is the pause — between stimulus and response, there is a space; in that space is your ability to choose and in that choice is your power.
