Spent so many years with the Stern show. Working construction in DC sucked but that show was so entertaining. Thank you Artie for making our days a little better.

Howard mocked Imus for being that guy that no one was allowed to say hi to in the hallway. But then Howard BECAME the guy that no one was allowed to say hi to in the hallway

Artie also filled a void in that studio that was desperately needed- the blue collar, guys guy, grounded human being. Something that Howard, Robin, and Fred were not. Howard is too narcissistic to ever see or admit that Artie was good for him in so many ways. Artie was relatable to his core blue collar audience, he kept Howard in touch with the real world and actual normal human behavior that wasn’t limos and mansions, and also Arties presence seemed to curb Howard’s gay tendencies and made him reluctant to froth over guys genitals and his trans fascination -all of which started running rampant once his left

Artie was the reason I listened to Howard for several years, he was the best part of the show with his stories and quips and side jokes. Yet he maintained the attitude that he just was one of the several contributors there, no arrogance at all. Love ARTIE forever.
