  I like how every other song in this demo is either sad, weird, or straight up jokes, but then Surrogate comes along and turns up the &quot;shit gets real&quot; meter tenfold.

  not enough people are talking about that segment at the beginning, like holy shit this team has improved a crazy amount and the effort to include a fan-episode segment at the start with accurate animation is just phenomenal

  Love how imposquids final form has desyncing outlines. Like what a better way to sell your monster being so eldrich then having the very outline be not attached to your own sprites?

  I really like the blinking mechanic. It feels like when you&apos;re very sleep deprived in a morning class, and you keep drifting off without realizing it, so you&apos;re constantly snapping yourself awake and fighting your own mind.<br>Really cool whenever these mechanics compliment the atmosphere and context of the song

  I just simply love Squidward&apos;s sprites on 3rd and 4th phase, you really notice his impact of how he is confronting something that nobody knows what is, and he expects that this is his last chance on his life.

  I don&apos;t know what it is. But impostward suddenly disappearing, gives me such chills. Like a predator suddenly giving up chase. It&apos;s unnatural unless he&apos;s planning on coming back.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iegTBG-REus&amp;t=191">3:11</a> the outlines being glitched and dragging with that thing is so fucking cool, it’s almost like it’s trying to break out of its weeping angel form and get squidward right here but it’s bizarre nature is holding it back, the outlines also can be seen like a mask slowing failing and breaking that’s pretty scary
