I absolutely love Magik and her story has helped me process so much in my own life. She is such an underrated sorceress and what a potent story of overcoming and living with trauma, abuse, living through and finding balance with the light and dark, the parts that were taken away so young to grow and let it be a part of your story and your make-up. Her armor and her conquering and consistently battling her demons is a literal embodiment of living with PTSD and surviving abuse, how that darkness can chip away at your light but ultimately becomes something that is your a part of you and your armor and how you come to survive, and therefore is a STRENGTH. I love this character.

My intro to her was in the classic New Mutants. Have followed her pretty much throughout her career.

Whoohoo! So glad back. I had food poisoning twice, it's horrible. Glad feeling better.

This was a awesome video. I like to see his perspective leaving comics for a few decades and coming back, is really interesting.

I liked Magik since I've been reading X-Men but this video made me realize HOW much I've not read of her haha. Awesome video!

Magik is so competent and powerful that they tend to nerf or sideline her because her skillset solves so many problems.
In a lot of ways she's being held back in her stories by being attached to the X-Men. If there's a problem she could handle normally, they take away her magic, or change her teleportation , have the darkchild come, or completely remove her from stories she should be in.

She's a dr strange, Xavier, Magneto level force both in personality and power
