(Also, a short note on MARK II: I’m aware of the variants known as the HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark II [D] Geyrion and Mark II [J] Colossus. These came later, after the introduction of MJOLNIR. Considering I mentioned other exoskeletons deployed after MJOLNIR, they probably deserved a mention. But, by the time this video hit its deadline, I made the tough decision to cut them out. When I eventually combine all parts of this series into one video, I’ll likely add them in, along with any extra details I might’ve missed.)

Research Sources:
Halopedia.org
Halo: The Fall of Reach - Book (2001)

Video Sources:
Halo Legends (2010)
Halo: The Fall of Reach - Film (2015)

Image Sources:
Halopedia.org

Music/Sound FX Sources:
Freesound.org
Original Halo OST by Martin O'Donnell
https://www.youtube.com/@TheMartyODonnell
Jafet Meza Graphic Designer And Film Score Composer
https://www.youtube.com/@JafetMeza/videos
Halo 2 Soundtrack - Impend EPIC VERSION Warhammer Style
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzsGDdgAGo4
Halo Reach - Deliver Hope EPIC Trailer Music ft ‪@sianna7259‬
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Oz6asx79CI
(Seriously, check out Jafet Meza's stuff, the remakes are incredible)
Halo Legends OST - Machines and Might
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFUoaOcgNkQ

So a little correction, there's a huge distinction between Mjolnir Marks 1-3 and the Prototype suit shown in Halo Legends Ghost. Mark 1-3 was the earliest attempt at some kind of power armor or exo suit, problem always came down to the power source being too large to be feasibly mass produced for war or needing the connect to a power source directly. Ghost's Prototype Suit came after Mjolnir existed as another attempt to produce these suits, I guess the development led eventually to the Cyclops and later Mantis.

The mark 1 suit lore reminds me of the titans and jumpkits in titanfall, originally made for construction and farming and later developed into weapon systems

I like how the Orion armor was actually just the Halo Combat Evolved beta master chief

Nice work on this video! Very nice coverage of the Pre MJOLNIR suits! I will be watching your career with great interest.

You know legends ghost was cool but youd think procuring a bunch of mechsuits piloted by baseline humans that can feasibility challenge entire covenant batalions singlehandedly was a more ethically and logistically better choice than a state sponsored kidnapping cloning and super soldier program.

Imagine a alternate Halo Universe where the UNSC Marine Corp is more like Starship Troopers Mobile Infantry and they have powersuits and tanks are replaced or supplemented with the Ghost Prototype suit. Then SPARTANs would also still exist

9:20 IS THAT WHERE THE NOVA GAMES ON PSP/PHONES GOT THEIR INSPIRATION FOR THE LOOK OF THE ARMORS?! GUYS LOOK INTO THIS THEY LOOK SO SIMILAR AND IF ITS TRUE THEY GOT INSPIRATION THAT WOULD ACTUALLY BE SO FREAKING COOL

The Green Machine was used by Sgt Johnson during his time in the Orion Super Soldier Project, prior to using the later Orion Armor. Orion was technically Spartan-I. Just saying... Love your efforts, regardless. GG.
