  Our house is on this video in the Topeka Kansas  area. We're at the 10.25 mark and it looks way better now. And its not in Topeka. Its actually in a small rural area, in Reno County. But everything they said. If you need to reset your finances , build your credit back up, save money , own your home, with no payments. This place is perfect for us. I love my peace.

  Why not just make it affordable to live in these towns. Affordable housing, LIVEABLE wage, TAXING THE RICH M O R E THAN THE WORKING CLASS

  As a person that relocated to a very rural area in WV 30 years ago, it is not for everyone. Where I lived, it was 45 minutes to the nearest Walmart, ten miles to the nearest gas station, and high speed internet was a pipe dream. One of the big issues was that there was little future there for my children. If a family had a farm or business, it could probably provide for one of the children to take over later. The other children would have to find something else. Usually they went to university or the military and, either way, never came back. I loved it there but eventually had to move again to a more populated area for the sake of my high school aged children.

  Anybody that would move to New York now at this time is a complete idiot. I was born and raised there. New York was one of the most beautiful places on Earth. And now it&apos;s going straight into the toilet.

  I did Tulsa, OK. It was easy and great. I stayed the year but decided I wanted to be back near my children so I moved. The only issue I had there was almost being leveled by a tornado.

  Here’s the thing about living in these “boring” cities- making $70,000/yr means someone can still be a stay at home parent. If you make $125,000/yr then you actually have money to take a VACATION- you can travel all over the world vs taking your time off so you on’t lose it but you don’t go anywhere. Big cities may have alot more to do, different types of restaurants, culture, all the stuff BUT you can’t afford to do all the stuff unless you make $350,000/yr or more! I’d much rather living cheaply then visit the big cities and other countries that have all the stuff.
