  Here was my typical PC rotation circa 1999-2004:<br><br>-Half-Life + OpFor (Deathmatch)<br>-Unreal Tournament<br>-CS 1.0 to 1.6 (anyone remember fy_iceworld?!)<br>-Tribes 2<br>-OG Rainbow 6 (where you had to plan and execute real operations) + Rogue Spear<br>-StarCraft and Brood War<br>-WC3 and Frozen Throne<br>-Diablo II and Lord of Destruction<br>-Morrowind + both expansions<br>-Aliens versus Predator 2 plus Primal Hunt and some cool server mods<br>-Army Men by 3DO, the isometric shooter (1998)<br>(runner up for Solider of Fortune but i quickly moved on from that game to endless replaying of HL and OpFor)<br><br>That&apos;s about all I can remember. I was born in 1990 and consider myself one of the most privileged and fortunate humans to have grown up with these games during my formative years. This was absolutely the golden era of PC gaming. Gaming online back then felt like you were part of some super secret underground cultural thing.<br><br>I started on the SNES in 95, moved up to the 64, but ultimately graduated to PC gaming in 1999 and never looked back.<br><br>I also had the PS2, XBOX, and Game Cube. The 360 was the last console I ever purchased.<br><br>I&apos;ve played and beat A LOT of games over the years.<br><br>But the ones I go back to the most are the classics, especially games like the D2/SC remasters.<br><br>(Also Turok is my favorite 64 game and one of the best FPS games ever made, and it was better than Goldeneye in just about every regard.)

  You should check out Starsiege: Tribes (1998, Dynamix). &nbsp;Still my #1 favorite game, even though it&apos;s dead.
