  In a show called "Young justice" where the main premise about the child sidekicks, why were they in such a rush to make everyone become adults that are barely distinguishable from the justice league?

  The major problem is that the time skip betrays the very concept of the show. A show about watching these young heroes grown into their own. Skipping that development means skipping their growth. It's more impactful when we get to see all the growth.

  I think this is where we get introduced to Young Justice's biggest strength, and also its biggest weakness. Its has a lot of characters it wants to use, and it doesn't have time to use them all. It becomes more prevalent in seasons 3 and 4, but this is where you can start to see it.

  The bit about Jason Todd is always funny it's like " yeah,this fucker is not happening,he is still dead no matter the universe "😂

  My biggest problem with Season 2 is the fact it’s the shortest season in the series. It could’ve used those extra 6 episodes to make things feel less rushed. Still a great season

  I HATED the time-skip so much. The found family is one of my favourite tropes, so I loved season 1 so much and wanted to grow with these characters. It felt as though we just got started exploring these characters, only for use to jump forward a couple years, skipping over a crap ton of development, throwing out a bunch of relationships, and introducing half a dozen new relationships with characters I didn’t know or care for.

  I love the season 2 we got, but I do think it should have been season 3 of this show. Season 2 should have been exploring what happened to the original group during those 5 years. We lost so much growth with those characters that we started with. Watching Aqualad lose Tula and figure out who his dad is, Zatanna's journey without her father, watching Superboy and Miss M breaking up, watching Dick become Nightwing, and watching Artemis and KF grow together would have been amazing to see. Then season 3 could have played out the same way Season 2 here did while introducing new heroes but not as many heroes.

  Yeah, I never liked how each season company to jump forward times significantly. It essentially comes across like they wanted to progress the characters, but they didn’t want to go through the hassle of actually giving them the character development to get to that point.

  I think we can all agree that Blue Beetle and Impulse were the best parts of this season, right? Honorable mentions go to the Artemis/Tigress, “Traitor” Aqualad, and the whole Roy Harper storyline. The rest of it… needed a few more drafts ngl.
