What I don't get is why. after the efforts of Germany to destroy the morale of the British by bombing civilian targets had failed, did the allies think they could destroy the morale of the German people by destroying the German civilian targets.  In both cases, it had instead pushed the civilians closer together in solidarity with their governments and militaries. Did they really think the Germans would react differently than the Brits had done, or was it basically revenge?

I am fan of docs. the use of maps in real time, not just to show a specific Timelapse, but to also show the geopolitical timeline.. FANTASTIC

Battle field is the all time greatest docu series with the nest narration of all. So many are posting history with the worst artificial narration. It ruins the video

Hitler didn't write Mein Kampf,  he largely dictated the text to his deputy, Rudolf Hess, who also handled the editing. Stalin had Mein Kampf translated into Russian, so he knew what Hitlers intentions were...

Nothing against other nations contributing to victory in WW1,but ,it;s always the same British,French and American forces led the path. But the fact it was Canada that was the spearhead in the 100 Days Offensive,it;s time that due is given to the country that broke the German lines, starting with Amiens,Drocourt-Queant line then Canal du Nord, and took on the most difficult and substantial tasks, yes for the British first army, but without Canada successfully completing the hardest tasks, who knows how it might have went.As i say, every nation contributed, but Canada always gets no recognition, though actual history shows they did the hardest tasks and were successful. But Canadians are quiet and don't pound our chests, but honestly enough is enough
