I cried and smiled thru the whole thing. My grandmother’s passing was hard for everyone who knew her. I constantly felt like I had to be strong for my mother and everyone else. I hadn’t cried at all except for the day she passed and the funeral. It isn’t until a year after when the grief hits me full force. I still have a pillow made from one of her old dresses that was a Christmas gift to me and my cousins. We each got a different part of the dress.
