Who leaves their chef out when deciding on a menu? People who have no idea what they’re doing but think they do.

Jen should have been General Manager, she knew her stuff. No doubt she has gone on to bigger and better things.

I don't understand why the chef didn't create the menu. What?

The best hotel managers are those that have worked their way up from the bottom ,that is the best training .

Why isn't the GM letting the Chef do his job? He is NOT a chef, not even a GM and is interfering in things he knows nothing about while demeaning the experts he hired! Has he ever stayed in a fine hotel I wonder. Does he know what service really means and the effort it takes to achieve excellence? A potentially beautiful boutique hotel being run by a boy with a total absence of wisdom! It's tragic to put him in charge. He doesn't want to/or is afraid to learn and can't get out of his own way!

A French fancy, tinned spam and pineapple butty and a dried up madeline is not worth £25 and looks awful 🤣

Think Richard needs to go work at a hotel of high standards to learn the ropes. A couple weeks at each job needed.
