Wow great video and thanks for going through all this trouble. Question - in the parabolic longer intake, can you show a drawing on how long it extends into the drum or how far above the bottom of the drum it is? Is it because it needs to avoid the path of the air coming into the drum to avoid turbulence?

Very nice! The other variable is dust removal effectiveness. I wonder how changing the inlet impacts the collection efficiency. The 8% improvement sounds great but if it makes the collection ineffective, it may not be a great idea.

i was thinking a taller design but you’ve proved that doesn’t improve suction performance, but what about dust separation performance?<br>if the inlet is as far from the vacuum port then “it should” not send as much “fine dust” back to the filter, yes ?<br>have you tested this ?<br>what configuration did you end up with ?
