  No one mentions this, but for the first three minutes I believe Don is playing Kora (African stringed instrument) before his trumpet begins. I noticed this on about my 997th listen. To those who have commented here: you are my real family. Glad to have found you.

  Listened to this for the first time after a freak April snowstorm today, April 2, 2026. Took my wife and two youngest kids up to a park high up in Elk Ridge, Utah- watching a spectacular sunset, passing frost-covered orchards and forest, beautiful homes, and looking out over the twinkling lights and majestic peaks of Utah Valley. Perfect listening experience, first half on the way up and last half on the way down

  My auntie heard &quot;Brown Rice&quot; on Radio 6. I liked it&apos;s freaky funky nature. It made me think of a more arranged &quot;On The Corner&quot; by Miles Davis. Ebay led me here. This is beautiful. I am far from educated on minimalist composers but I love what I am hearing.
