  Kathy reeeeally irritates me, the language she uses is so manipulative "if there's a cancer in our relationship why am I going to throw out the patient" as if the cheater who is selfishly destroying several lives is somehow a victim that needs taken care of? never heard such BULL in my entire life... what the fuuuuck

  i wonder when if ever it will become acceptable and normalized to call cheating what it is - abuse. especially affairs. i'd never stay with someone that doesn't care about my informed consent to the relationship.

  If my mom left my father after he cheated (the first time) it would have been much less traumatic for me, than to watch her stay with him for years(while he kept doing his thing), destroying her sense of self and any self-esteem she might have had. Staying after cheating, especially if you have kids, can teach them that this sort of behavior is acceptable.  Just leave.

  All these discussions only happen when it's the male who cheats. Women are expected to stay. Staying is "strength" ONLY when the male cheats.

  I don’t think people grasp how low character someone must be to be a cheater because it’s so normalized. I’ve had talks to serial cheater. These are people that master the art of betraying someone they claim to care about, finding better ways to hide it everyday. Someone comfortable sleeping and engaging intimately with a person they are stabbing in the back everyday.  Putting your LIFE at risk via crazy side chicks/guys or STDs. Nevermind the fact that someone who can cheat and betray you so easily could clearly never be trusted again. You have to deeply not care about your partner to cheat on them. I can’t believe society has normalized something so disgusting but I’m grateful I can just opt out of this nonsense.

  i got cheated on and stayed. he blamed me because i was busy with school. i had 6-8 years of school left. i broke up with him because i realized that he would always cheat on me when i got busy with studying and other school work
