15:09 a can of Deoxit or contact cleaner would really make life easier with these consoles. Especially after sticking a dirty cartridge in a dusty port.

you can sell just the consoles on ebay, with no other parts, because a lot people don't need anything but the console as a replacement unit

I ran into a similar issue with the NES. Take apart the cartridge, get 91% ipa and clean the whole chip and the pins. Then use brasso on a microfiber towel and polish up the pin connectors at the bottom. Then do a light coat of ipa again. Problem solved. Your cartridge looks like it has seen better days, I wouldn’t be surprised if the game connector pins are corroded. I had games stored in a garage for 20 years and you’d be surprised how dirty they can get.

Hey saw someone else mentioned so figured I would- same thing happens to mine, tried just cleaning (didnt open it) but no avail. Are you fixing these if they get sent in to you> About how much would that run me? Good video thanks

the pin connector, or maybe a broken solder joint somewhere? or rotten trace that's making intermittent connection when the board is flexed?
