Massive credit to the voice actors. Especially the one who played Susan.

Btw: the voice of Gladys, the Pestcontrol Wife, is David Firth :) the maker of Salad Fingers. :3

When i first played this i took the classification of parasite as of those who end lives to make themselves feel good which the queen clearly hates. I never figured what the queen of maggot herself is, when asked if she's death the response is "something lile that" yet she's the reason Susan is temporarily immortal and susan never sees her again after the game.
Fun fact: Joe Davis is the protagonist of a previous game. Although since you played this one first you know what he's about.

44:39 if you really stop and think about it from another angle this line "NOTHING IS FAIR." could mean the queen of maggots is actually giving you the answer we just don't realize it right away!

Great video.... now do Downfall: Redux, where the good ending is confirmed the canon one as Mitzi and Susan make a brief appearance in the game.

The main character sounds like Eleanor from the Castlevania anime.

First time I watched a play through on this game I was maybe 13/14 … I’m 27 now lol 😂 I always loved the story of this game , and as someone who later grew up to have really bad mental health issues this game really is relatable when it comes to her deep sadness. Such a disturbingly deep game.
