Daniel's talent is beyond amazing. The fact they needed to blur his self-portrait was not for "dramatisation " by the documentary in the slightest. It would of been like looking at a photograph of the young man.

Sad thing is there is £300,000 a year per inmate - so LOTS of $$$ for rehabilitation for Convicted Psychiatric patients but only AFTER they’ve BRUTALLY ATTACKED an innocent Victim.  But Psychiatric care BEFORE a violent attack is almost non-existent unless your family is rich.  Think about our priorities in this society of ours.

Daniel makes the most beautiful charcoal paintings, they look like someone taking a picture a picture of Brad Pitt. Amazing.

Notice how many times these men speak of their mothers; being abused, being ignored yet loving them & missing them nonetheless. 😢

Completely understand Lenny's anger with being injected with his medication after hearing his backstory of being sexualy abused using substances

You know you're a great artist when they blur your drawn-self portrait out!

These types of documentaries are so important in how they humanize people. It’s so easy to fear and loathe severe mental illnesses like psychosis. It’s so important to learn to see people are all deserving of being seen as human beings and deserving of basic human dignity

My mom just retired from an all male forensic unit at our state mental hospital. It takes a special person to do this work. Mr. Daniel’s drawings my goodness. He’s so talented. Wow. So many brilliant but broken minds in this world ❤

The thing that will always get to me. Is that somewhere inside these people is another suffering human being whether rage or anger or their thoughts or any other profound emotion you can think of is dominating them that they don&apos;t have control over. &nbsp;I don&apos;t think for a minute that these people arenjoying their existence.<br>They&apos;re very alone in their world
