Something I've always found cute about Wall-E that I don't see brought up very much, is that it seems like he was never designed to talk. His "lines" sound less like he has an actual voice box, and more like he taught himself how to speak using whatever random robot noises he can make.

It’s such a powerful line. "I don’t want to survive. I want to Live"

I love how they managed to tell such a sweet and engaging love story with almost no dialogue in the first half. The character designs and animation tell you everything.

fun fact: the film did not originally have the credits sequence showing humanity recovering. test audiences thought that the axiom folks were doomed, even with the extra shot of greenery. so they added the credits to truly reinforce that this was a happy ending for everyone.

Wall-E was THE only robot still operational for reasons we might never know. But we know he kept himself operational by salvaging off his other deactivated buddies. He's kind of like an allegory for humanity's refusal to fully die out even in the most harsh situations.

MO really said “They told me NEVER NEVER EVER to disengage myself from my Management Rail… or I would DIE. But we’re out of options here.”

What I like about this movie is how little Wall-E actually does to affect the plot. Just his presence alone is enough to act as the first domino to set off the chain reaction cause 90% of events.

I remember after Ratatoulle someone suggested "Now if Pixar can make a Cockroach adorable, THEN i'll be impress" And they did :)

The only thing M-O ever wanted to do was clean up the dirt and grime WALL-E was leaving behind, bro was never once a problem.

One of the things that I absolutely love about this movie is that even though Auto is an antagonist.

There’s not really a villain in this film. The steering wheel is just doing what it was told to do.

But the key theme in this movie is breaking out of what is expected of you to do what is right. And the antagonist is just someone that refuses to change and not out of any malicious intent. It truly thinks it’s helping humanity.
