It’s been on my bucket list to create a video that’s over an hour, and when this idea came to me last year I knew it was a matter of when, not if, I would make it – so thank you guys so much for your patience and for indulging me today. I know I’ve been pretty absent this year but I promise it wasn’t laziness or losing passion for this whatsoever. I had an absolute blast making this video (except for the part when I had to render it 47 times), and I hope this was worth the wait. What exactly I do next I haven’t decided just yet, but I should be back around sooner than later. Thanks again for everything guys 🙇🏻‍♂❤

  I know it&apos;s hilarious nowadays but the scientists and security guards dying in funny ways is the Valve&apos;s way of saying &quot;do not do that, you idiots. You will die if you do this&quot;.<br><br>-Otis dying to the electrical fence<br>-Scientist dying to the tripmine at the start of We&apos;ve Got Hostiles.<br>-Another scientist running towards an HECU marine while saying &quot;rescue at last!&quot; and the soldier killing him.<br><br>These are all placed there to show the players that these things possess danger. HL2 also has moments like this but they are more &quot;subtle&quot; and not that funny. Such as:<br><br>-Lamarr introduction<br>-Barnacle catching a crow in front of you<br>-Zombine joke scene. They show the zombine using his grenade in a safe environment. <br><br>I&apos;m pretty sure Alyx also has moments like this but never played that game lol.

  Residue processing may be annoying as hell to play, but it does serve a purpose. Giving you a more puzzle-based chapter after your ambush narratively highlights your isolation and emotional and physical low point. It&apos;s cool that the game has you claw your way back up from nothing after removing all your weapons, and literally making you crawl through a waste plant is a great metaphor. Also, the aesthetic and vibes of the chapter are cool, kinda similar to blast pit in a way. I wouldn&apos;t want it removed, but obviously a serious gameplay overhaul is in order.

  Here&apos;s a tip to skip Nihilanth&apos;s teleportation attacks:<br><br>Hide behind those spikes. If you think you can&apos;t hide behind in time, shoot at the green orb with a non-hitscan weapon. I mean a weapon that shoots a physical projectile. Crossbow and hivehand&apos;s alt-attack work wonders on it. I generally use hivehand to get rid of the green orbs because it has infinite ammo.<br><br>Rpg, grenades, and snarks should work on the orbs too but I&apos;ve never tried them tbh.
