When you're walking the path of succession, always do it with an ironclad contract. Especially when it's family who will overlook appropriate financial compensation for executive level contributions. <br>10 years of building a company is a lot to throw away. I wouldn't have gone back at all.

Demanding 40% is ridiculous. Anything less than 72% is robbery. Exactly the amount Savannah had already received ... Letting Savannah have 35% in the new split is insane. Give her 5% without voting rights because she is family, with a contract where all parties agree to transfer more of the company to her and eventually grant her voting rights for those 5% too, IF she adds substantial value to the company. Seriously, what is going on here? OP is still a doormat.
