Whenever the axiom of choice is invoked you know there's some absolutely arcane shenanigans about to be pulled

that's basically the quotient set R/Q and taking representatives from [0,1), great video to explain this concept for someone with no background in abstract algebra

I heard "irrational" when you said "a rational".

Zermelo not only invented the Axiom of Choice, but also the Axiom of No Backsies.

This Is the type of videos that you don't understand the first time watch it . And you have to rewatch it after years to understand it

Damn, Veritasium's explanation really simplified a lot of the concepts at play here. I managed to follow through this video, but if I hadn't watched his video first I might have gotten lost here.

Underrated maths channel sighted! This is a great video and explains the topic very well. I'm excited to see what you make in the future.

While the text on screen is correct, the procedure being shown in the animation around 5:30-5:40 might mislead people into thinking pi/6-1 should go in a brand new box when it's compared with pi/4 or similar, instead of going with the pi/6 box. (Also, around 10:49 there's a weird mixture of subset and inequality notation.) Otherwise, this is a great video explaining an important concept in real analysis!

Amazing video! I wish there were more formal math channels like yourself!

Just one note, in the LaTex of union you should use the symbol \bigcup and not \cup, it's not really that important but you might benefit from it production wise!
