  Could it be that Sara Connor is johns mother, but his father could be anyone? <br>There had to be a point where &nbsp;John existed once before Kyle Reece was sent back. He could have had a different father the first time. As long as Sarah exists, John does, that&apos;s why they try to kill HER

  Looper doesnt contradict itself as much as this video makes it sound. It is basically instantly creating a new timeline branch in real time. Old version gets sent back and escapes, young version of the first guy gets surgically carved up and is kept on life support for the 30 years before being sent back, the old version suffers the effecta as they happen to the you version because his personal timeline is updating. Same with willis&apos; character at the end, instantly gone because the younger version is dead so there is nobody to send back. Also seem to recall willis&apos; memories getting muddled after telling his younger self about the future, which implies the younger version decided to avoid those things intentionally

  In Edge of tomorrow Tom is infected again in the end that&apos;s why he loops. <br>Doc is shot in back to the future but the result is never shown, from Marty&apos;s perspective nothing changed

  A fun time travel theory I like to toy with is that the traveler determines the rules of the travel. Basically, that time travel itself requires use of effectively god-like power to manipulate reality itself. So, in the process of traveling, the traveler using that brief link to reality manipulating powers literally re-writes existence to follow the rules they subconsciously decide reality should.<br><br>That means that anyone who believes that whatever you do in the past already happened creates the closed loop where they can be the one that taught their self what they would later teach their self. If you believed in split/divergent timelines you&apos;d create an alternate timeline to travel to. Etc.<br><br>It not only &quot;resolves&quot; most (if not all) time travel paradoxes, it also provides fun mental exercises in what sort of results you could get with multiple time travelers with different rule beliefs traveling together with mixed results on the destination timeline.

  Idk if you’ve watched “Terminator: ZERO” yet, but it confirms that their Time Travel doesn’t change anything about the past or future… it just creates another timeline 💯

  Back to the future 2 doesn&apos;t work. Wen Doc Brown came back at the end of the first movie telling Marty and Jen there was a problem with their kids and they had to go to the future with him, he removed them from the timeline. They no longer existed to get married and have kids and would have been listed as missing persons until they reappeared in the future.

  I have read the books for the ones that have books and not seen any of the movies except back to the future. I was screaming at the screen , &quot;the book explains it way better&quot; then to realize they were taking about the movie and not book. &nbsp;The book for the edge of tomorrow is great much better than the movie.
