Wow! This is the perfect example of a GRUNT! Thank you so much for your service. It's guys like Mr. Don Kaiser in why I enlisted in the Infantry in the USMC. Now, as a Retired USMC Infantry Grunt, who then did 5 yrs at my local Sheriff's Office. Getting bored with this, my beautiful, wonderful wife who is more Marine than me, as she retired from the Marine Base High School, as a Teacher "the Devil Pups" encouraged me to pursue overseas contracting in Executive Protection. Here, I did 5.5 years over in the Baghdad Embassy. During this time, I operated in the Teams, then became a Firearms Instructor, to eventually be promoted to one of the Weapons & Tactics Instructor (ITI) where I trained members in my Task Order to Local Security (CPU).

Semper Fi & God Bless!

Dang, imagine carrying a load of 100 pounds that’s like a sack of cement. How the heck did they jump out of a helicopter without breaking both legs with all that weight?

So glad this generation from that time is finally getting a chance to tell their stories. It's the right time. With the internet their stories will now be preserved for all time.
