  I served in Marine Corps aviation in early 70's  and respected deeply, our pilots and it is always heartwrenching when service members of any branch are in harms way! Great debrief!    Semper Fidelis!

  Hey Hoover, I was a C-shopper (Comm/Nav/Penetration Aids (ECM)) specialist on the F-15E, was at the 90th Pair-o-Dice, the old 550th Silver Eagles, 391st Bold Tigers and 335th Chiefs. I'm very sad to see this war to begin with and much less the shooting down of this Strike Eagle. Thanks for your service and for your channel. Hope we find the WSO. 🙏

  I was really hoping you would do a post about this. We can hear all the news pundits but until we get insight and facts from a reputable source, you don’t know what to believe. When I saw the Strike Eagles, I asked my husband “I wonder what Hoover has to say about this.” &nbsp;Thank you to both you and Max for the insight and for your service. Our son is in the Air Force as a fire fighter so we watch closely. Our nephew is in the Navy but his ship is in dry dock for repairs :)<br><br>I do wonder if you miss being out there?

  The only thing i would add to this is that whatever took down the F15E might have also taken down the A10, and whatever took down the A10 musta been significant, unless they were lucky seems unlikely one shoulder launched would be enough - those A10&apos;s are tanks !!!
