  The upgrade of the tubes makes such a difference! The 5654w tubes were good to start, but the EL34 tubes are an absolute game changer! The amp opens up like a flower in spring, so much more dynamics, so much more detail.<br><br>If there are people here that want this as well, I have videos of both the EL34 tubes and the removal of the protective cage on my channel, trust me, it is worth the time and investment!

  Seems the latest version of JTA100 are shipping with different set of tubes. The front ones are 6J9 and the small ones are un-identifiable from the tubes. 6J9 are not compatible with 5654w

  Has anyone run this amp on some Klipsch Forte IV&apos;s? If I need more power does Dayton make an amp I can still use this radio with? Thanks for any replies!

  I have 1 question for everyone. <br>Has anyone else noticed that even if you take out the tube in that position the amp still plays music through that channel?

  Help! I tried to upgrade with the 6JIP-EV Vokshod. These are the 7-pin tubes. However they go in the second row, not the front. My two fronts are 9 pins. Anyway, I put the 7 pin ones where they go, and the big tube between them won&apos;t fire. I don&apos;t get it. Any thoughts? And I feel like I keep hearing that the 7s are up front and 9s behind. Not on mine at least!

  Hey Matt , the next upgrade that I did was an ob3 for the wy-3p. I found a Sylvania ob3 on Alli Express if you want to give it a shot. It&apos;s definitely an upgrade in my opinion.
