I’ve never wanted so badly to simultaneously sleep and read. Each recommendation is an intriguing option; I love how you describe the books. Also, I admire that in your busy life you still find / make time to read and explore new literature. 📚

I really loved Milkman. I ended up reading it in conjunction with a nonfiction book called Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland that recounts the story of many IRA members and leaders. Highly recommend!

You're going to enjoy The Left Hand of Darkness so much. Every time I re-read it, the story haunts me for months afterwards. Le Guin was so before her time. Total genius 📚📚
