Honestly, your solo episodes are by far my favorite. I usually skip the guest episodes unless it looks really interesting or the guest is super special but I get a ton out of just your solo episodes. I imagine I’m not alone. Keep them up!

Regarding babies in church, we are Catholic (don’t argue religion please) and a common phrase is “if your parish ain’t crying, it’s dying”.  Babies and small children are very welcome.

I loved your outlook on having babies. We were done after baby number 4, but then something shifted in our hearts and we realized we wanted more. I'm due in July with number 5! They are such a blessing and each little personality adds so much joy to our home! Also, please keep doing the solo episodes! I don't think you realize how much us younger moms crave the wisdom and laid back outlook on life and kids that you have. ❤

Money is a huge factor with how many kids you can have. Even living very sparingly!!

I always enjoy the “Lisa and Miriam Show”😊. God never gave children as a curse. They were always a blessing.

I give you SO much credit for having 9 children. I had post partum depression after each of my three pregnancies and it got worse with each pregnancy. After my third pregnancy I had a very high risk pregnancy, was hospitalized the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy and then at the birth both my son and myself almost died. I am grateful to God that we both lived. I had to have a hysterectomy to save my life. Our family is complete with 3 children. I don’t think there is a magic number for any family, it is a very personal choice for each individual couple. Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!❤

On the grandparent level, we see our role as being there to support the parents as they raise the grandchildren.  Whatever is expected of them at home is respected in our home!  We do make concessions for creating special memories, but even those are discussed with parents ahead of the event/treat/special. I did not want "spoiled" children and am grateful to not have "spoiled" grandchildren. Momma to 13 and grandma to 42 and growing!

I’ve been following you for a long time.  My husband and I are dairy farmers and live in rural Ohio.  We consider ourselves homesteaders as we also garden, grow our own meat, butcher, make our own maple syrup, hives, fruit trees…etc.  We also had our 9th child this past April.  I’ll be turning 40 next month and we’ve had our children on the same years.  I love watching these question and answer sessions because as you read the question, I think about how I would answer, and almost everytime our answers align.  I don’t feel I am a parenting guru.  Truly, you just figure out what works overtime and realize all the worries from the early years always worked themselves out over time.  I love your podcast and the only challenge of having a big family is not having time for close friendships.  Watching your podcast over the years helped me feel not so alone in motherhood.

I had one Velcro child.  Literally, at 16/17 he still wanted me to be with him almost all the time!  Happily, he’s now in college and doing great, but his high school senior year was tough on both of us.  He’s still a bit of a mama’s boy, but completely independent now!  ❤

Hi Lisa my husband is one of 18. There is only one set of twins.  There are 13 girls and 5 boys.  My husband grew up on a small farm. They raised mostly what they ate. My husband know realizes how lucky he was to have a stay home mom. They use to plant 100 tomatoes.  Had a dairy cow and raised chickens and hogs. His father delivered all kids with help from grandma.  His dad was upholstery man. His dad had his own business.  They lived in a old farmhouse.  I grew up in the city.  Your kids will love the life yall gave them . I am from VA my name is Sonia..
