  Another thing people dont seem to notice is what Peter says after he is stabbed. Peter says that he can't see and he doesn't even know if he is breathing. This points to the fact that Kravens knife had to have some kind of poison on it which is probably what actually killed him. We even see that the hunters have a special preperation for kravens knife when sneaking around as MJ.

  Something that has come up so often in this discourse about characters getting “nerfed” is that they always ignore that same character’s use of restraint. Which really just shows that they don’t value restraint and is a massive red flag.

  I love how he says Peter stops trains but in the clip he shows every time he says it, Peter is redirecting the trains momentum upwards, something significantly easier than stopping it

  I don&apos;t think this dude understands how insane the Anti-Venom Symbiote is for Peter. The regular Venom Symbiote but with zero drawbacks??? That means he isn&apos;t ever conflicted with other voices in his head, so he has clear thoughts. It means he also doesn&apos;t have the weakness to sound or anything, he has all the same durability as the black symbiote. And on top of that, his body is almost always at peak performance because the symbiote can rapidly heal him.

  I think the main reason people are confused by Peter being nerfed is because he performs differently in the first game. The main answers are how much tougher his enemies are and the prior knowledge.<br><br>In the first game, the other four members of the Sinister Six are easy game. I mean, he&apos;s fought them before and he&apos;s basically in his prime.<br><br>Peter didn&apos;t immediately beat Martin Li - but he did in their final two fights, as he knew how his powers worked (to an extent) and got a lot stronger.<br><br>Peter&apos;s Anti Ock suit was the natural counter to Doc Ock, and he also knew how Otto was beforehand. But he also got brutally hit, as Otto isn&apos;t weak at all.<br><br>Meanwhile, in the second game... A chonkers Sandman that easily stomps the other four in the Sinister Six (except maybe Electro because of how Sandman reacts to electricity). An upgraded Lizard who gives everyone a tough time. Kraven, who stomps the Sinister Six any day of the weak. Miles, who Peter was likely holding back against, had a massive power boost and the bell. Venom, having the meteorite and being... well, Venom. Harry is fully taken over.<br><br>The threat level is much different.

  The thing about Kraven in all his fights is that he isn’t interested in either Spider-Man because they don’t kill and alway hold back not because they are incapable <br><br>His hunters say the reason he isn’t interested in Peter is because despite beating everyone kraven has hunted Peter doesn’t aim to kill<br><br>Indicating that even if kraven views Peter &gt; to everyone he hunted <br><br>Because Peter isn’t willing to kill meaning he otherwise wouldn’t give kraven the death he desires<br><br>You could also see that as the reason why Kraven one shotted Peter he knew Peter would hold back regardless if he was strong enough to hurt him or not and just kill him <br><br>Kraven took advantage when he saw it and that’s how Peter almost died <br><br>If Peter had a true scale of kraven and actually wanted to kill and kraven knew this I doubt he just walk up to Spider-Man like he did or even be able to stab him as he did <br><br><br>It’s like appealing to the idea you know someone will hold back regardless and you will take advantage of that regardless which kraven did <br><br><br>Miles he also calls weak alongside Mr negative <br><br>And since miles was heavily fatigued and Mr negative throw the fight and Mr negative isn’t really above base Spider-Man as much as he nerft miles venom powers meaning it was mostly base miles no venom powers vs Li <br><br>Kinda shows that if miles was heavily fatigued in such a state he be no match for Kraven even if he was above base Spider-Man(which I still debate base peter or miles could beat kraven but they would have to push themselves and not hold back) <br><br><br>Also kraven being able to fight black suit Spiderman I really don’t think can be considered as him being a true match for him since he abuses the weakness of the symbote like miles to peter or peter to scream <br><br>Its just a. Factor even if they could fight said characters it’s under the circumstances of using their weaknesses against them not because they are a true equal unless it’s implied they hold back a lot on top of that <br><br>Which kraven isn’t<br><br><br>As venom before he gets the knull<br>Meteor is if symbote Spider-Man didn’t hold back level <br><br>In which kraven didn’t stand a chance and I don’t recall he had the bell to help him like the black suit holding back Spider-Man

  Not to mention when fighting the Sinister Six, we see more of Spidey getting exhausted, trying to catch his breathe after fighting Electro and Vulture but ends up sleeping the night, recovering from Scorpion&apos;s poison with many moments of weakness transitioning to hallucination levels, losing a fight with Doctor Octopus after defeating Mr. Negative that results in him getting heavily injured and see him limping at both FEAST and Otto&apos;s lab. Plus he had 14 broken bones after the Six assembled at the Raft, Spider-Man is not invincible nor is he immune to how much energy he uses, he can get tired just like anyone else. True from a gameplay perspective we don&apos;t see that, but we do from a story point of view, although the only time we see moments of weakness during gameplay in these Insomniac Spider-Man games was when Miles first absorbed a Nuform reactor in the mission Corporate Espionage, and another in this game Mary Jane carrying a stabbed Peter at the zoo in the mission Good Men

  I absolutely love Marvel&apos;s Spider Man 2,the only problem is that people complain because Peter gets his ass kicked herr and there,but people forget that Peter wasn&apos;t untouchable in the First Game,as he also got pinned by a terminal,and he also got beaten up and tied up by Silver Sable,who has no powers. <br>So no,Peter isnt Nerfed In Marvel&apos;s Spider Man 2.
