  The concept art they didn’t use including a design of link w/ a new arm made of “ancient technology” is so cool in hindsight, as it’s TOTK’s Link’s design. Very cool.

  &quot;The team found it difficult to make Link&apos;s hat appealing and felt to have run out of ways to make it look cool after Skyward Sword&quot;.<br><br>Yet the hat was still added and even the other Link costumes were added through amiibo and STILL look cool. I think Link&apos;s hat can look very cool if designed correctly.

  I like that the developers felt <b>bad</b> for a character in a game they were making so they took extra time to design a new mechanic to help that character do their job. (Wind Waker, Wind Temple)

  I think link losing an arm would have been amazing subversion as well as character development. Replacing it with Sheikah tech opens up so many item ideas
