  Based on the "Nightmare Series", Mario realized that neither NG, nor me, nor BF and GF existed anymore. All the players lost, meeting in a void with the sign "Game Over" glowing in red neon. Everyone who was a part of him went home, turning M back into his original state. After the song "A Mad World Without You", he resurrects Lucas from the MX stage, realizing that this was the only thing he could fix... Because he didn't care anymore.

Devoid of any drama or hype, it&apos;s been reduced to a familiar tune, stuck in M&apos;s head, the last thing that he still recalls before he ended his own game. A song he sings to himself, yet not feeling anything from it-it&apos;s just a bitter memory that brings nothing but remorse of what he&apos;s done...to himself
