Attack on titan or SBR for me,AOT has the best plot twists I’ve ever seen in an anime and the peaks of this show were insane to watch on a first time viewing , SBR because of the fact that Johnny and gyros story is perfectly written with the themes being integrated so well into the fights.

It's Steins Gate and it's not close. But fr everone has such different answers and a story can have more or less of an impact on you based on who you are or where you're at in life. For some, Vinland Saga, Orb, AoT or whatever hit the hardest but for there's no show that gave me higher highs than Steins Gate. It's what I would personally consider the best story

Redline was simply ahead of it's time. If it dropped today it'd be goated no question.

Full Metal Alchemist..period.. short concise brilliant story with fleshed out characters and amazing villains.. All the ppl saying AOT.. Y'all have to understand having the best plot twist doesn't mean u have the best plot.. By y'all logic Game of thrones is the best story ever 🙄.. Monster is another story that's over AOT..
