Barbra is a legend in her own time.  She is one of the most significant talents of the 20th and  21st Centuries.  I adore her and the part her work has played in  my life.  She will never be forgotten.

She is endlessly fascinating. Absolutely unique. Some people may not like her, but you can’t deny the singular talent.

I have loved her since a friend of mine played  her first album for me. To this day I sing her songs and will include them in a one man show I'm planning to put on. Thank you so much Barbra for all the inspiration you have given me.

I'm black. My mother really loved the early Streisand (early to mid '60's). To this day I can still remember at age ten seeing that TV special in '63 on CBS with her and Judy Garland. LikeThe Beatles in '64 on Ed Sullivan, that Special is etched in my brain for some reason.

I've loved Barbra ever since I can remember.  Then, last year, she put out "Walls" where she effectively gets political for the first time in her career and (wait for it) it is brilliant.  I bought many copies of "Walls" for my friends and my parents.  Barbra climbed up another rung on the ladder of respect and appreciation.
