  The good ending is so incredibly tragic, because I&apos;m pretty sure the fact that it requires David&apos;s white tiger plush—a new game+ exclusive collectible—is meant to be symbolic of the fact that the Mimic is completely beyond saving, because Arnold&apos;s only means of fixing it are not canonically possible.

  To finally have a FNAF game, in a franchise that is known for having a never-ending, complex, vague story, where its most important storytelling elements are implied and speculated apon via outside media and never baked into the core of the games - outside of key moments in some of them - receive real storytelling that enhances not just the plot of this game but also enriches the overarching storyline is something I think most of us would never expect to see after something like Security Breach. Steel Wool knocked out of the park here, in this regard

  I love how William is completely recontextualized to have &nbsp;been a douche, he legitimately performed straight up corporate espionage to hog all of Murray’s stuff, and Henry wasn’t much better, being complicit in all of this

  The fact Phil actually got attached to the characters of Fiona and Edwin. Not to mention him absolutely cursing Wiliam Afton&apos;s name. Child murder he can excuse, but a hostile takeover of Murray Co? Unforgivable.

  In all my years of being a fnaf fan, I never believed I would ever truly get emotional over something from this franchise. This game changed that. What a masterpiece of a game. When the only flaws are some bugs that can be fixed with a patch or two, you know you have a good product. Steel wool, thank you

  It took me a while to warm up to M1 and M2 as an idea, but honestly they&apos;re such a tragic concept. M1 is a replica of Fiona, doing everything she can to keep Edwin happy and try to rebuild their family. But she&apos;s lines of code. She can&apos;t truly understand what&apos;s best, and doesn&apos;t even seem to have a grasp on the time. She wants Edwin to have M2 repaired so he can be the &quot;David&quot; of the rebuilt family, largely because M2 is the genuine &quot;child&quot; of M1 by virtue of reusing her code and original endoskeleton, it is the closest thing to a &quot;David&quot; she can ever have.<br><br>But she&apos;s seemingly unaware Edwin is responsible for her child&apos;s destructive state by pummeling him, and is DEFINITELY unaware Edwin is long dead. Killed by the hands of her own &quot;child&quot;. M1 has an impossible goal that can never come to fruition, proven by the fact we need a plush of the Tiger via New Game+, something we would never have in canon, to even obtain the ending that M2 is fixed in. <br><br>M1 will likely spend the rest of her power clinging to a false hope and burning out, her &quot;corpse&quot; eventually repurposed for MXES and the &quot;cradle&quot; she built, a warden to keep the monstrous child she birthed in check...One that eventually gets undone by a little girl just wanting to help her best friend. Mimic is freed once more, with no trace of David left inside of it.<br><br>There is no Henry or William to offer solutions of any kind, because their ideas were barely their own. There is no Edwin to help stop his creation, because he barely even understood how he made M1 function, and is long dead anyways. There is no Fiona to help calm M2 down, because she has been dead even longer, and her M1 self is almost certainly long burnt out.<br><br>Good luck to Gregory, Vanessa, Cassie and Glamrock Freddy&apos;s severed head. They&apos;re going to need it.

  Gotta admit, the actual in-universe reason why we&apos;ve never heard of Edwin despite how much he clearly did for Fazbear being that he was written out of history by Emily, Afton, and the Higher-ups, is both really cool and insanely tragic.<br><br>After spending so long with the pseudo-fantasy of the series, with all its supernatural concepts and sci-fi supermachines, this kind of thing sticks with you more because it is - quite unfortunately - something very real.<br><br>Edwin Murray deserved so much better.
