I'm a long time follower from your handbag days and your very first videos about mounjaro were what started my own journey. I lost over 100 lbs since starting on a glp in March of 2025 and my health is now 100 times better than ever. So I really want to thank you for sharing your experience and sharing actual data and facts about this life-changing medication.

You are the reason I ended up taking Mounjaro. Something you said made resonated with me over a year ago now. Best thing I have ever done. The weight loss has been fabulous even though I could still loose a bit more but the mental freedom it has given me has absolutely changed my life. Like you I feel like i have found freedom from this thing thats had a hold of me all my life. I am so grateful and know that I am one of those people that will always have to take it and that is perfectly fine for me. A massive thank you to you. Love the enthusiasm and good content you make.

Your story is the most similar to mine and like you within 48 hours I just felt ‘better’, I hadn’t lost weight but the medication had a dramatic effect on my sense of wellness which was the complete opposite to what I expected. My weight loss has been much slower than yours, but that sense of finally being well has not gone, it also seemed to lift my mood which has stayed stable. As a long term sufferer of mild to moderate depression this is also such a gift. I have lost 70lbs which is amazing and and now quite fit, bloods are all in the right place, etc. But the physical side has only been half the picture for me. You were one of the first people I watched when I started and I really appreciate your content thanks Emma, much appreciated.

Thank you so much for your positive and informative content. It’s so helpful. I’ve found that being on a GLP1 has helped my overactive bladder. It’s been amazing not to have to worry about always needing the loo or accidents. I’ve not heard anyone talk about this but it’s just been one of those extra bonuses I’ve been enjoying!

Emma this was a uplifting update, thank you for your expertise and honesty. You’ve helped me greatly, the day after my first Mounjaro dose I woke up without food noise, the freedom is amazing. I have space in my head and feel free. I’m so grateful. I’m still in weight loss phase so that’s my focus now. But I know I need to unravel the binge-restrict cycle of dieting for 58 years (Put on my first diet at school.) Discarding the good/bad food list and giving myself freedom to explore as you have will be ahead once I’m a healthy weight. I’m hoping the cost will come down so I can keep using this magical medication long term. Please keep posting.

I cannot thank you enough Emma. I was considering a glp1 when I came across your videos and it helped me realise that these are legit medical treatments, not a celebrity or social media trend.

I felt amazing within hours of my first dose and my appetite change was immediate. I've lost more than a third of my body weight in 10 months and got to a normal bmi, taken up weight lifting and running and am living my best life for the first time.

I also didn't increase my dose beyond 2.5 - I didn't even know that was possible before your videos.

Thank you for showing the world the world at least one picture of a real person treating their obesity.

Now I'm here for running inspo 😂. Love hearing about your life and perspectives 😊

Shaking jittery and tired for me turned out to be reactive hypoglycaemia which I have suffered from since my teens but I only have had a name for it in the last four years since being diagnosed by an endocrinologist. Taking Wegovy and now Mounjaro has decreased my episodes and improved my blood glucose levels also as a Type 2 diabetic.

So much relates! Especially when I tell people I’m at the gym 6 sessions a week! Sometimes I get the look which is them thinking ‘really?’ I don’t fit the aesthetic of a typical gym goer. I assume they are thinking I’m either lying or it’s clearly not working! - again this is my perception and maybe they are not thinking this! Who knows!?!

I realised very quickly that I don’t go to the gym for weight loss! That is purely food based. Gym is for my physical and mental health.

Totally get when you talked about getting compliments when I’ve lost weight and ‘look better’

People feel they can comment on our bodies - even when they think they are giving a compliment they don’t understand that it might not feel like a compliment to me.

Thanks for sharing love x
