  I rode on the track for years. One thing I learned is that it is easy to lowside. On the street it only takes a small mistake to meet a tree head on.

  Those Ducatis were smooth and fast, it was interesting to see how well they knew the road and to watch you picking your lines, sometimes on their cues, sometimes of your own choice. Awesome.

  As a motorcyclist and motorsports fan of more than 30 years, driving over the centerline, too fast in damp conditions, its only a matter of time before someone is killed or becomes a hood ornament.  Ride smarter, leave that stuff for a track day.

  decades ago we had a group that was called spring run. the first weekend in june was the date that our sport bikes gathered to a group of about 200. once we got to the twisty section we all stopped to tank up. &nbsp;then it was every bike for himself to get to the restaurant first, 50 miles away. who ever gets there first gets the best seat. <br><br>our road makes the dragon look strait. there are trees and cliffs all along the route.there was only one rule, no passing on the inside. there were crashes every year and sometimes ambulances were involved, although i never heard of anyone dying. riding in that group was like star wars and space ships. that&apos;s how fast we were going. :face-orange-biting-nails:<br><br>then i bought my house and i came to the realization that i couldn&apos;t make mortgage payments from a hospital bed and i quit. i&apos;m an old grease ball now and i suggest that if any of you youngster want to make to your pension, you quit too...but it was fun. &nbsp;:face-fuchsia-tongue-out:

  Never quite approached that level of riding, but seeing these videos saved my ass numerous times. &nbsp;Any time I was in over my comfort level, I just thought... these things are capable of WAY more, so just keep smooth and relaxed and it&apos;ll handle it just fine! &nbsp;And it always did.

  We did this 30 years ago with camcorders (yes) on the rear foot peg and one on a tank bag, watch “Kawasaki ZX9R and ZX6R two men two ninjas 2000 miles” , this was a tour through France when there were no speed cameras, and not much traffic, no rider aids, and using a map lol , and life was less hectic! We even rode in shorts and flip flops 😂

  I haven&apos;t ridden the Dragon in about 10 years, but those roads are starting to look pretty beat up. Y&apos;all ride safe out there and always wear your gear!
